The UA Signal Person Certification sets the Standard for Safety in Industry:

*All UA Signal Person are third party certified by the national Commission for Certification of Crane *Operators.The UA Signal Person training & Qualification Program is in full compliance with the latest OSHA Federal Regulation 29 CFR Part 1926.

*UA Signal Person Training and Qualification program complies with the ASME B30 and ANSI A10.42 Standards.

*UA Training programs are approved and certified by the U.S. Department of Labor.

The U.A. consistently strives to develop training and certification programs that improve member's skills with the aim of increasing job productivity and safety. This training is made available to Plumbers & Pipefitters Local Union 123 members.

Our UA Industrial Rigging Training and Qualification program complies with the ASME B30 and ANSI A10.42 Standards. We have standardized rigger training governed by an audited and approved quality assurance program. Our UA training programs are approved and certified by the U.S. Department of Labor. We are consistently developing training and certification programs that improve our members’ skills with the aim of increasing job productivity and safety.

Local Union 123 members were responsible for the installation of all plumbing, piping and associated equipment including the energy plant that supplies the facility with steam and chilled water for the air-conditioning.
